PDF charts outling the various education pathways are now online in French and English versions.

Network Outage & Update --- On Saturday February 14'th at 6:39AM the fiber optic network which connects a large number of organizations on the Gaspe coast went dark. Along with our many partners this inconvenience has proven costly. Telus has informed us that faulty equipment in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts was to blame and has now been corrected. All told, we were down for over 90 hours with sporadic uptime until approximately 1:00PM Wednesday. We are currently seeking guarantees from our providers that this will not reoccur.

The 2008-2011 ESSB Strategic Plan is now available. Visually rich in appearance this document is loaded with details on current trends and socio-economic information that serve to shape our initiatives as we move forward.

Within days we will be launching the new ESSB website!

Many new features have been incorporated into this release. Some of the most exciting will be student and parent login environments, a collaborative student portal, as well as blogging & announcement tools that will allow schools and centers to quickly and easily publish newsletters, storm closures, etc.

We are very excited to be launching this website over the coming weeks and certainly welcome your feedback as we strive to make this website a valuable component of the ESSB information system.
