Have you ever wanted to open or create a Notebook file on a computer that didn’t have the Notebook software? Maybe you were home, preparing a lesson for the next day’s lesson on the SMART Board but didn’t have time to download the entire program. Next time, why don’t you try the SMART Notebook Express online? The online program may have less functionality than the full version, but it definitely will help out in a pinch!

If you have a Mac, you probably already know how to take screenshots? You can use Grab in the Applications > Utilities folder; alternatively, you can use command + shift + 3 to capture the entire screen or command + shift + 4 for a portion of the screen (press the space bar if you only want a single window). But why not try Skitch! It’s beta for now but that means it’s FREE! I highly recommend it and the video on the Plasq site explains it better than I could!
