My name is Ray Venables and I am the RECIT animator for the Eastern Shores School Board. I am passionate about educational technology and work hard to assist teachers with integrating technology in their classrooms. I believe that technology can enhance teaching practices. About RECIT
The acronym "RÉCIT" means "A network of
REsource people for the development of
Competencies using
Information and communication
Technologies."
According to the Ministry of Education, each school board appoints a resource person to facilitate its local RÉCIT service at the elementary and secondary levels. Facilitators provide ICT training and support for teachers and help them test and carry out learning projects with students.
